Day two of the garden festival was competely different from day one. This time we went round homes in the suburbs of Auckland, yesterday we visited vast country estates. Day two houses had stunning backyard gardens that you could imagine yourself creating if you had the time and money. Having said that some of the gardens were so spectacular they belonged in Holywood and I just didn’t want to leave.

Two of the gardens would have to be my most favourite gardens ever – they were just awesome. The weather was once again one of the best days we’ve had this year, gorgeous, sunny and hot. It’s been a fantastic weekend and given me renewed interest in my very own little garden.
