Calm Before the Storm

For several days we were warned about a massive cyclone that would strike on Friday night and last all weekend long. I was quite worried and wondered if I should at least drag my outdoor furniture into the lounge till it was all over. But the last time we had a warning about a massive storm nothing happened and it was coming in from the East and my backyard is sheltered from the east, so I didn’t bother.

Turned out to be a wise move. The storm didn’t really have any major impact on Auckland at all. I even had to water the garden on Sunday due to the lack of rain!
